FAQs

  • What should I expect for the wedding and reception?

The vibe of the wedding is a garden party - so bright spring/summer attire is encouraged if you like wearing color. You’ll have time to see the Botanic Gardens, and we’ll have a cocktail hour and sit down family style dinner. We’ll also have a string quartet playing throughout the evening for light dancing.

After the formal reception ends, those who wish to keep celebrating will go out to a bar together. Stay tuned for more details on where we’ll head for more drinks and dancing.

  • What do I need to know about the wedding venue?

The ceremony and reception will be outside, so please wear sunscreen and sunglasses as needed. There will be shade cover, but please check the weather when you pack as the weather in early June can vary.

If you drive to the venue, please check the information on the Botanic Gardens’ website about how to park. When you get to the front desk, tell them you are here for the Ousley-Billingsley Wedding; you do not need to purchase a ticket.

  • What other events are there throughout the weekend?

We are so grateful to all of you who are traveling to Denver for our wedding, so we want to make sure we can spend time with everyone who comes. We have both a welcome party on Friday and a farewell brunch on Sunday for all of our wedding guests. If you have other plans or want to explore Denver more during these times, please feel free to do that instead!

  • Where should I stay during my time in Denver?

We have special pricing at Vib Hotel in Rino for those who book before May 8. We also have a few additional recommendations on our travel & stay page.

  • How should I get around while I'm in Denver?

If you want to take a hike in the mountains, you’ll likely need to rent a car. Otherwise, you can get around with a few Uber/Lyft rides and walking around the Rino area. If you don’t rent a car, we recommend taking the RTD train from the airport to the Rino/downtown area. We have more information about that on our travel & stay page.

  • Are children invited?

We love all of your little ones, however the wedding weekend events are adult-only. If you decide to travel as a family and need help finding childcare, please let us know and we are happy to assist you!
